New Pencil- head study

I found a new toy in the Art Room; an ebony jet black pencil. very smooth and versatile; i really like it this picture was just me playing with it, and i needed to practice drawing heads anyway, so...

i'm pretty pleased with the shading on this one (in some areas anyway ) hope you guys like it too. This piece will be followed by a bunch of stuff that isn't the norm superhero drawings i do, since my teacher just introduced me to a new artist and i'm practicing some stuff i learned from his books...
